What is this?

What is Olympia?

Olympia is a community prediction market where anyone can turn a question into a market.

Create your own markets, use Credits to predict what happens next, and see what the community thinks.

You don’t have to wait for us to list a question. If it meets Olympia’s rules, you can create it yourself.

Ask anything. Create a market. See what people believe.

Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 3, 2026

Welcome to Olympia.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Olympia, including olympia.markets, Olympia applications, APIs, prediction markets, virtual Credits, community features, and other products or services we provide (collectively, the “Service”).

In these Terms, “Olympia,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Olympia platform.

By accessing or using Olympia, creating an account, purchasing Credits, participating in a market, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use Olympia.

1. What Olympia Is

Olympia is a prediction-market and forecasting platform.

Users may create questions about future events, participate in markets created by other users, and use virtual Olympia Credits to express predictions.

Olympia is intended for forecasting, entertainment, discussion, reputation, and community participation.

Unless Olympia expressly states otherwise, Olympia does not operate real-money prediction markets.

Olympia is not a bank, brokerage, securities exchange, cryptocurrency exchange, casino, sportsbook, investment adviser, or financial institution.

Market prices and probabilities displayed on Olympia are not investment, financial, legal, medical, political, or other professional advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Olympia.

By using Olympia, you represent that:

  • you are at least 13 years old;
  • you are legally permitted to use the Service;
  • the information you provide is accurate; and
  • your use of Olympia does not violate applicable law.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Olympia only with any permission required from your parent or legal guardian.

Certain features may require you to be older.

Unless the Official Rules for a particular promotion provide otherwise, you must be at least 18 years old to participate in an Olympia drawing, sweepstakes, giveaway, or other prize promotion.

Olympia may restrict particular features by age, jurisdiction, or other eligibility requirements.

3. Accounts

Some Olympia features require an account.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information current.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and authentication credentials.

You may not:

  • sell or rent your account;
  • impersonate another person;
  • create accounts using false information;
  • create multiple accounts to manipulate markets, rewards, promotions, rankings, or other systems;
  • access another user's account without permission; or
  • circumvent an account suspension or restriction.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.

4. Olympia Credits

Olympia may provide users with virtual units called “Olympia Credits” or “Credits.”

Credits may be obtained through methods made available by Olympia, including free allocations, promotional distributions, participation, purchases, or other methods.

Credits are virtual items used within Olympia.

Credits:

  • are not U.S. dollars or any other currency;
  • are not cryptocurrency;
  • are not securities;
  • are not bank deposits;
  • do not represent ownership in Olympia;
  • are not redeemable for cash;
  • cannot be withdrawn;
  • cannot be exchanged for cryptocurrency through Olympia;
  • have no cash value;
  • may not be sold outside Olympia; and
  • do not represent money owed to you by Olympia.

Your Credit balance represents a limited, revocable right to use Credits within the Service according to these Terms.

You do not own Credits as property except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.

5. Free Credits

Olympia may provide users with free Credits.

Free Credits may be subject to:

  • replenishment schedules;
  • daily or periodic limits;
  • expiration;
  • account eligibility requirements;
  • anti-abuse restrictions; or
  • other conditions disclosed within the Service.

Olympia may change free-Credit programs at any time.

6. Purchasing Credits

Olympia may allow eligible users to purchase Credits.

Before completing a purchase, Olympia will display the amount of Credits being purchased and the applicable price.

Purchased Credits provide only the right to use those Credits within Olympia.

Purchasing Credits does not provide a right to receive cash or other monetary value.

A Credit purchase does not, by itself:

  • provide an entry into a prize drawing;
  • improve the odds of winning a prize;
  • generate sweepstakes entries;
  • create a right to a prize;
  • create a financial investment;
  • create an ownership interest in Olympia; or
  • create a right to redeem Credits for money.

Olympia may distinguish between purchased Credits, free Credits, promotional Credits, or other categories of virtual items where necessary for legal, operational, or anti-abuse purposes.

7. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors.

Olympia does not necessarily receive or store your complete payment-card information.

You authorize Olympia and its payment processors to charge the payment method you select for purchases you authorize.

You are responsible for applicable taxes, charges, or fees unless otherwise stated.

Attempting to use fraudulent payment information or improperly reversing legitimate transactions may result in suspension or termination.

8. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, Credit purchases are final after the Credits have been delivered to your account.

If you believe a payment was made without authorization or was processed incorrectly, contact us promptly.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Prediction Markets

Olympia markets allow users to express predictions about uncertain outcomes.

A market may include:

  • YES/NO outcomes;
  • multiple-choice outcomes;
  • numerical outcomes; or
  • another market structure supported by Olympia.

Olympia may use automated market makers, algorithms, order systems, pricing formulas, or other mechanisms to determine market prices.

Market prices represent activity on Olympia and should not be interpreted as guaranteed probabilities.

Real-world events may differ from the expectations expressed by Olympia users.

10. User-Created Markets

Olympia may allow users to create their own prediction markets.

Market creators must make reasonable efforts to write questions and resolution criteria that are clear and objectively resolvable.

You may not intentionally create:

  • deceptive markets;
  • markets designed primarily to manipulate Olympia systems;
  • markets encouraging unlawful activity;
  • markets involving sexual exploitation of minors;
  • markets containing credible threats;
  • markets exposing unlawfully obtained private information;
  • markets intended to facilitate fraud;
  • markets whose outcome you secretly intend to manipulate; or
  • other markets prohibited by Olympia policies.

Olympia may edit, reject, restrict, close, void, or remove a market when reasonably necessary.

11. Market Resolution

Each market should include or refer to criteria governing how it will be resolved.

Olympia may rely on:

  • official government information;
  • election authorities;
  • sports leagues;
  • company announcements;
  • reputable news organizations;
  • designated resolution sources;
  • publicly verifiable records; or
  • other reasonably reliable evidence.

Where the result is unclear, Olympia may delay resolution until adequate information becomes available.

Olympia may also void a market if:

  • its criteria are materially ambiguous;
  • the underlying event becomes impossible to resolve reliably;
  • the market was created in error;
  • the market violates these Terms;
  • manipulation materially affected the market; or
  • another circumstance makes a normal resolution unreasonable.

If a market is voided, Olympia may reverse relevant transactions or restore Credits according to its then-current procedures.

Olympia's decision concerning the resolution of a market is final for purposes of the Service unless Olympia elects to review or reverse it.

12. Market Integrity

You may not engage in deceptive manipulation of Olympia markets.

Prohibited activity includes:

  • multi-account manipulation;
  • collusion intended to exploit platform mechanics;
  • falsifying resolution evidence;
  • unauthorized use of exploits;
  • intentionally manipulating a real-world event primarily to affect an Olympia market;
  • evading trading or participation limits;
  • wash activity intended to generate artificial volume or rewards; or
  • other deceptive behavior that undermines the integrity of the Service.

Olympia may reverse transactions, remove improperly obtained Credits, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other reasonable corrective action.

13. Drawings, Giveaways, and Promotions

Olympia may occasionally offer drawings, sweepstakes, contests, giveaways, merchandise promotions, or other promotional programs (“Promotions”).

Promotions are separate from ordinary Credit purchases and market participation.

Each Promotion may have separate Official Rules.

Those Official Rules may specify:

  • who may enter;
  • age restrictions;
  • geographic restrictions;
  • entry methods;
  • entry limits;
  • promotion dates;
  • available prizes;
  • approximate retail values;
  • winner-selection procedures;
  • odds or factors affecting the chance of winning;
  • verification requirements; and
  • other applicable conditions.

Where required by law, no purchase will be necessary to enter or win.

Purchasing Olympia Credits does not automatically provide entry into a Promotion and does not automatically improve a user's odds of winning.

Olympia may offer a free method of entry where required by applicable law.

If the Official Rules for a Promotion conflict with these Terms concerning that Promotion, the Official Rules govern.

Olympia may exclude jurisdictions where a Promotion would be prohibited or require additional registration, bonding, licensing, or other obligations.

14. Points, Rewards, and Reputation

Olympia may operate points, reputation, ranking, achievement, or rewards systems separate from Olympia Credits.

Olympia may determine that certain activity does not qualify to generate particular points or rewards.

For example, activity using purchased Credits may be excluded from generating prize-eligible rewards.

Olympia may implement:

  • earning limits;
  • verification requirements;
  • anti-abuse rules;
  • expiration rules;
  • account-age requirements;
  • geographic restrictions;
  • minimum activity requirements; or
  • other restrictions.

Unless Olympia expressly states otherwise, points, reputation scores, badges, and similar virtual items have no cash value.

15. User Content

Olympia may allow users to create or upload:

  • prediction markets;
  • comments;
  • images;
  • profile information;
  • descriptions;
  • links;
  • explanations;
  • evidence;
  • usernames; or
  • other content.

Collectively, this is “User Content.”

You retain ownership of intellectual-property rights you hold in your User Content.

By submitting User Content to Olympia, you grant Olympia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content.

16. Content Rules

You may not upload or distribute content that:

  • violates applicable law;
  • contains child sexual abuse material;
  • contains credible threats of violence;
  • unlawfully exposes another person's private information;
  • infringes intellectual-property rights;
  • contains malware or malicious code;
  • fraudulently impersonates another person;
  • facilitates scams;
  • is designed to compromise another user's account;
  • materially interferes with Olympia; or
  • otherwise violates Olympia policies.

Olympia may remove User Content at its discretion when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the Service.

17. Copyright

You may not upload copyrighted content unless you own the relevant rights, have permission, or your use is otherwise permitted by law.

Olympia may remove content in response to valid copyright complaints.

Repeated infringement may result in account termination.

Olympia may establish a formal copyright or DMCA process as the Service develops.

18. Public Information

Olympia is designed around public prediction markets.

Depending on your settings and Olympia's features, information visible publicly may include:

  • your username;
  • avatar;
  • markets you create;
  • public comments;
  • market positions or predictions;
  • rankings;
  • reputation information;
  • account statistics; and
  • other information you intentionally make public.

Do not post information you do not want publicly associated with your Olympia profile.

19. Olympia API

Olympia may make an application programming interface (“API”) available to developers.

The API may allow third parties to create alternative clients, applications, analytics tools, research projects, integrations, or other services using Olympia data.

Unless otherwise stated, you may use the Olympia API subject to these Terms and any API-specific documentation.

You may not use the API to:

  • evade restrictions;
  • manipulate markets;
  • bypass rate limits;
  • interfere with Olympia infrastructure;
  • unlawfully collect personal data;
  • obtain authentication credentials;
  • impersonate Olympia;
  • misrepresent Olympia data;
  • create unreasonable system load; or
  • facilitate conduct prohibited by these Terms.

Olympia may modify, rate-limit, suspend, or discontinue any API endpoint.

We do not guarantee permanent availability or backwards compatibility.

20. Third-Party Olympia Clients

Third parties may create applications that interact with Olympia's API.

Unless Olympia expressly states otherwise, those third-party applications are independent from Olympia.

Olympia is not responsible for:

  • their security;
  • their privacy practices;
  • their representations;
  • their software;
  • their availability; or
  • losses arising from your use of them.

You should review the terms and privacy policies of third-party applications before authorizing them to access your account.

21. Automated Systems

Bots, software agents, scripts, or automated clients may access Olympia only through methods permitted by Olympia.

Automated activity must comply with rate limits and may not provide an unfair advantage, interfere with Service operation, or circumvent restrictions.

22. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • violate applicable law through Olympia;
  • exploit vulnerabilities without authorization;
  • gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
  • distribute malware;
  • interfere with Service availability;
  • evade suspensions or restrictions;
  • commit fraud;
  • manipulate Promotions;
  • manipulate markets through deceptive behavior;
  • use stolen payment information;
  • use Olympia to facilitate money laundering;
  • scrape Olympia in violation of technical restrictions;
  • harass or threaten users;
  • use Olympia to facilitate unlawful transactions; or
  • use the Service in a manner that creates substantial legal or security risk.

23. Security Research

If you discover a security vulnerability, we encourage responsible disclosure.

Do not:

  • access data belonging to other users;
  • destroy data;
  • compromise accounts;
  • intentionally degrade the Service;
  • extort Olympia; or
  • publicly disclose an unresolved vulnerability in a manner likely to cause harm.

Olympia may establish a dedicated security disclosure process.

24. Third-Party Services

Olympia may rely on third-party providers for services such as:

  • authentication;
  • payments;
  • hosting;
  • databases;
  • analytics;
  • email;
  • content delivery;
  • infrastructure;
  • fraud prevention; and
  • monitoring.

Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Olympia is not responsible for third-party products or services outside our control.

25. Availability and Changes

Olympia is an evolving platform.

We may:

  • add features;
  • remove features;
  • modify market mechanics;
  • modify Credit systems;
  • change APIs;
  • introduce or discontinue Promotions;
  • impose usage limits;
  • perform maintenance; or
  • discontinue portions of the Service.

We do not guarantee that Olympia or any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

26. Beta and Experimental Features

Some Olympia features may be labeled beta, experimental, preview, or similar.

These features may:

  • contain bugs;
  • change without notice;
  • lose data;
  • behave unexpectedly; or
  • be discontinued.

Use experimental features at your own risk.

27. Suspension and Termination

Olympia may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account where we reasonably believe that:

  • you violated these Terms;
  • you committed fraud;
  • your account presents a security risk;
  • you manipulated markets or Promotions;
  • your activity creates substantial legal risk;
  • payment activity appears fraudulent; or
  • suspension is reasonably necessary to protect Olympia or its users.

Depending on the circumstances, we may provide a warning or opportunity to appeal.

Serious abuse may result in immediate suspension.

28. Effect of Termination

If your account is terminated, you may lose access to:

  • your account;
  • Credits;
  • markets;
  • reputation;
  • rewards;
  • API credentials; and
  • other Service features.

Because Credits have no cash value, termination does not generally create a right to receive cash for unused Credits, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

29. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OLYMPIA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • OLYMPIA WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE;
  • THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE;
  • MARKET FORECASTS WILL BE ACCURATE;
  • USER CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE;
  • ALL DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED;
  • THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE; OR
  • DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.

YOU USE OLYMPIA AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

30. No Professional Advice

Information on Olympia is provided for informational and entertainment purposes.

Olympia does not provide:

  • investment advice;
  • financial advice;
  • legal advice;
  • medical advice;
  • tax advice; or
  • professional betting advice.

You are responsible for your own decisions.

31. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OLYMPIA AND THE PERSONS INVOLVED IN OPERATING OLYMPIA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  1. THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO OLYMPIA DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
  2. $100.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

32. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Olympia and the persons involved in operating Olympia harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • your unlawful use of Olympia;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your User Content; or
  • your infringement of another person's rights.

33. Governing Law

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent legally permitted, disputes that must be brought in court will be subject to the jurisdiction of appropriate state or federal courts in Georgia.

Nothing in this section eliminates consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

34. Changes to These Terms

Olympia may update these Terms as the Service develops.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method.

The effective date at the top of these Terms will indicate when the current version became effective.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

35. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

36. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

37. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with applicable policies, Official Rules, and other terms expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of Olympia.
